Practice for the Pink
YogaTree will be fundraising for Living Beyond Breast Cancer in May.
All Classes Friday, May 3rd through Sunday, May 5th are Practice for the Pink, all class payments will be donated to Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Further donations gratefully accepted.
A basket will be available that week for additional donations. Look forward to practicing with you that weekend and supporting great cause! If you are new to YogaTree and plan to attend, please email us so we can save a spot.
Introducing the Living Beyond Breast Cancer organization:
We provide programs and services to help people whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. Our goal is to provide information, community and support that you can trust, is easy for you to access and respectful of you and your situation. All our resources are carefully and frequently reviewed by some of the country’s leading healthcare experts and informed by people living with breast cancer.

This 5-Week Yoga Basics workshop is designed to take away the worries about your first yoga class and make your introduction to yoga an enjoyable experience. You’ll learn what yoga is through yoga philosophy, the benefits of practicing yoga, how to start your practice, and how it can impact your life. This series is for the absolute beginner or the student somewhat new to yoga that wants a deeper introduction.
Series runs 3/27 to 4/24, Wednesday Evenings, 7:30-8:45 pm. Investment is $75
Anne will be offering class on Saturday, April 13th, All Levels Yoga $5 class, 4 to 5 pm
Second Saturday Special, A chance to practice for only $5 on the second Saturday of the month.

Salute to the Sun on the Summer Solstice! Join Danielle for a Yoga Mala , Friday, June 21st, 5:30 to 7:30 am
On this auspicious day, the height of light, join Danielle for this powerful, moving meditation. Honor the power of your yoga intention and the energy of your yoga practice and community! Danielle will lead you through 108 sun salutations in a way you can honor the summer solstice and your body. (She always brings snacks too!)

The next Double Happy Hour Date is May 10th
Once a month after Happy Hour yoga you can Double your fun at Happy, Happy Hour with Danielle. Stick around after class for an hour of refreshments and conversation with your yoga friends and family.
Class is 6 to 7 pm, chat time is 7 to 8 pm.
Six Year Celebration and Clothing Swap!
It’s a big weekend as we fundraise for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, celebrate turning 6 and a community favorite, the clothing swap.
Time for some closet turnaround…
Bring gently worn items that no longer thrill and find treasure in someone else’s donations. You can drop off items over the next couple of weeks as you come to class or the day of the swap.
We are repeating the Kids Corner, small fry stuff included!
Bring friends, family, your own refreshments and enjoy!

Party time! YogaTree is celebrating its 6 year mark.
Come celebrate with your yoga community, raise a glass to our six year mark. We will have refreshments, you can even keep your shoes on, it’s that wild! Party 6 to 10 pm.

Similar to Yoga Dance, come dance for Joy! No experience necessary, low impact and fun!
4:30 to 5:30 pm, $10
Akin to YogaDance, your hour will include joyful dance party and a short relaxing guided meditation. Nia is a dynamic fitness and lifestyle practice combining movement and philosophies from powerful Martial Arts, expressive Dance Arts, and integrative Healing Arts to bring the body, mind, emotions and spirit to life! Nia emphasizes not only physical conditioning, but also creativity, community, self-discovery, and individual expression.
Every class offers a unique combination of 52 moves that correspond with the main areas of the body: the base, the core and the upper extremities. Nia is adaptable to different levels of challenge by choosing from three intensity levels. Nia delivers a joyful, invigorating, and powerful practice both on and off the dance floor. Every body is welcome!
One Hour Class, Cost $10
Mary Jo Dervos is a Nia White Belt Teacher. She teaches swimming and fitness classes, including Nia, at the Wycoff Family YMCA. She has taught classes, directed programs and coached in the fitness area for many years. Her career includes serving as the Director of a senior center, a High School Physical Education teacher, and a swim team coach. Mary Jo has integrated fitness and wellness into the lives of many.
Family fun on Thursday, April 25th, 12:15-1:15 pm
Enjoy yoga with your child, grandchild, niece or nephew. Class is geared to 3 to 7 year olds. Come experience the joy, fun and benefits of yoga together. Class starts at 12:15, (Doors open at Noon, so come early and get settled)
