This 5-Week Yoga Basics workshop is designed to take away the worries about your first yoga class and make your introduction to yoga an enjoyable experience. You’ll learn what yoga is through yoga philosophy, the benefits of practicing yoga, how to start your practice, and how it can impact your life. This series is for the absolute beginner or the student somewhat new to yoga that wants a deeper introduction.
Series runs 6/5 to 7/10 (no class 7/3), Wednesday Evenings, 7:30-8:45 pm. Investment is $75

River Yoga starts up June 2nd.
Join Sara by the River on Sunday evenings for an All Levels Yoga class where you can connect with nature and your practice. Enjoy your yoga with beautiful views, breezes and sunshine, a wonderful setting to go with the flow! This is a regular class card class, drop in is $14.
River Yoga is held by the Riverton Yacht Club at the end of Main Street. Meet us there and enjoy!

On this auspicious day, the height of light, join Danielle for this powerful, moving meditation. Honor the power of your yoga intention and the energy of your yoga practice and community! Danielle will lead you through 108 sun salutations in a way you can honor the summer solstice and your body. (She always brings snacks too!)

Once a month after Happy Hour yoga you can Double your fun at Happy, Happy Hour with Danielle. Stick around after class for an hour of refreshments and conversation with your yoga friends and family.
Class is 6 to 7 pm, chat time is 7 to 8 pm.
Kathleen, PT, RYT has provided high quality Physical Therapy services for 17 years in multiple settings including rehabilitation centers, hospitals, assisted living facilities and outpatient offices. Every class offers a unique combination of 52 moves that correspond with the main areas of the body: the base, the core and the upper extremities. Nia is adaptable to different levels of challenge by choosing from three intensity levels. Nia delivers a joyful, invigorating, and powerful practice both on and off the dance floor. Mary Jo Dervos is a Nia White Belt Teacher. She teaches swimming and fitness classes, including Nia, at the Wycoff Family YMCA. She has taught classes, directed programs and coached in the fitness area for many years. Her career includes serving as the Director of a senior center, a High School Physical Education teacher, and a swim team coach. Mary Jo has integrated fitness and wellness into the lives of many.
