YogaTree welcomes local massage therapist, Ali Lopez, who will be offering therapeutic massage at the studio on Sundays, Mondays & Wednesdays. Ali uses a unique blend of Swedish, Thai, and myofascial stretching techniques bound to leave you moving and feeling better than you came.

Costa Rica Experience March 24th to 29th, 2018

Join YogaTree in beautiful Costa Rica for a yoga retreat and vacation in the sun! Unplug and relax, add some tropical ambiance to your practice!

You’ll stay in an ecolodge tucked away in the rainforest, less than a mile from a beach on the Pacific coast. Our accommodations at Vida Asana in Playa Hermosa are set within gardens with a pool, restaurant, lounge, yoga facilities and plenty of hammocks to unwind in.

With Danielle and Lynn as your hosts, you can join yoga classes each day, as well as offered group activities including a rainforest hike and Sangria night! These activities, refreshments and three vegetarian meals a day are included, and you are able to arrange extra tours through the lodge for an additional cost.

Double your Happiness, Happy Hour, February 16th, 6-7 pm yoga, 7-8 refreshments and chat

The next Double Happy Hour Date is Feb. 16th.

Once a month after Happy Hour yoga you can Double your fun at Happy, Happy Hour with Danielle. Stick around after class for an hour of refreshments and conversation with your yoga friends and family.
Class is 6 to 7 pm, chat time is 7 to 8 pm.

A Relaxing and Healing Experience. Crystal bowl sound is a form of vibrational medicine.  When we include forms of visual light to the mix, the body, mind and spirit begin to naturally realign.  Feelings of being rested and peace occur.

Many cultures recognize the importance of music and sound as healing power.  The practice of using sound to heal and achieve balance from within flows from the ancient civilizations of India, the Orient, Africa, Europe and Indonesia and among the Aboriginals and Amerindians.

Join us as we merge into the light, sound and ascension of higher vibrations and consciousness.

Bring a mat to lie on, water and blanket if desired. Wear loose comfortable clothing.  Bring a notebook or journal to record any thoughts or feelings that may arise.

4:30 to 5:30 pm, $10

Akin to YogaDance, your hour will include joyful dance party and close with a guided meditation. Nia is a dynamic fitness and lifestyle practice combining movement and philosophies from powerful Martial Arts, expressive Dance Arts, and integrative Healing Arts to bring the body, mind, emotions and spirit to life! Nia emphasizes not only physical conditioning, but also creativity, community, self-discovery, and individual expression.

Every class offers a unique combination of 52 moves that correspond with the main areas of the body: the base, the core and the upper extremities. Nia is adaptable to different levels of challenge by choosing from three intensity levels. Nia delivers a joyful, invigorating, and powerful practice both on and off the dance floor. Every body is welcome!

Guest Instructor

Mary Jo Dervos is a Nia White Belt Teacher. She has taught classes, directed programs and coached in the fitness area for many years. As the Director of a senior center to a High School Physical Education teacher, she has integrated fitness and wellness into the lives of many. She is currently teaching swimming and fitness classes at the Wycoff Family YMCA and I am very excited to welcome her to YogaTree!
